American Legion Post 60 Newsletter June 2017
Our current membership stands at 352 members. May closed with 260 members paid, 98.86% of our 2017 membership goal.
We are 3 members short of 100%. Presently, there are 62 members that have not renewed for the 2017 membership year.
Keep your membership active. Surely there are 3 of you, or more, to step up and help us reach that goal.
Those that have not renewed for the 2017 membership year, please do so at your earliest opportunity.

The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 60 has asked the Legionnaires support in increasing their membership.
They want your eligible family members to join the unit. Applications are available at the Lodge.
Also, female veterans can be dual members as well.

There is a District Commander call at Post 655, Haltom City, June 5th at 7:00pm for anyone wishing to attend.
The District Bus for Texas Boys State will leave Post 569, Felix St.,
on June 11th and return approximately 5:00PM June 16th.
Assembly for the boys is at 9:00AM, bus will depart at 10:00AM with escort by the District AL Riders.

July 1st Saturday Meeting ~ ALR Post 60, noon till 1:00 pm
We are located at 601 W Pioneer Pkwy Arlington, TX 76010.
The ELKS Lodge #2114 has agreed to sponsor our post at their Lodge. As a non-member of the ELKS,
you will need to be signed in as a guest. We will have a member of the ELKS there to sign you in.
On meeting nights, the last Thursday of the month at 7:00 pm, you can sign yourself in,
just enter your name and post 60. We hope that this will enable our post to grow and prosper.
